Authentic recipes from the dining halls of great rulers, we aim to share our love for these foods with you. We offer comfort and great taste, and a huge variety of non-vegetarian and vegetarian foods on our menu to cater to your unique palettes. Experience great food with us, and leave wanting for more.

Our Story

Inspired from the kitchens of legendary rulers, Maaidah has a legacy that is both authentic and regal. What started off as a personal discovery and intrigue into the lives of great dynasts, now lead to the amalgamation of fine cuisines and exquisite tastes under the name of Maaidah Restaurant. 

Who would’ve thought that the travel journey of one man across the gulf and Arab world could bring about such a massive chain of fine dining. 

Mr. Mohammad Fazil being a wrestler, had the opportunity of travelling to these places and discovering the impeccable cuisines that the Arab world holds. He loved it so much that he wanted to bring the authentic, royal taste to the people who could not travel to these places. He wanted to share his joy with his people. 

Many dishes on the menu including ‘Changezi Chicken’ have been a result of gross indulgence in the history and lives of  formidable rulers such as Changez Khan and Halko. The cuisines shown in the documentaries featuring these rulers were the inspiration behind the aesthetic of Maaidah. 

The main idea behind starting Maaidah was to provide different, unique kind of food to Old Delhi lanes, instead of the usual Nehari & Biryani. 

Unique, never before experienced taste is the USP behind Maaidah....an experience that will leave you spell bound and coming back for more. 

My friend and I were at Al Maidah Foods for dinner. I want to thank you and the rest of the staff for the excellent food and service provided. It was our first visit and we both agreed that it was a wonderful experience.
